Not a style of beer I drink very often, most likely since it’s a beer that highlights malt over hops but this one is very tasty. You wouldn’t guess the 7.7% abv. It’s main effect is to give me Gordon Biersch nostalgia.

Bonus marks for identifying the other style of beer in shot.

Stone’s fantastic Levitation Ale is there version of a session beer. It’s similar in many ways to an English special bitter except with a big hop character. Not overly bitter though some might find it too hoppy for a session. Not me though. Goes well with pork scratchings too.

A German Pilsener. Tasty enough but not a patch on proper Czech Pilseners. Still, it will always hold sentimental appeal as it’s the beer I drank on my first date with Ealish. I suppose I’m supposed to remember what she wore but I remember what I beer I had
